Mother's Day Weekend

Our weekend kicked off with some delicious greek food before heading to BJs to stock up for the festivities of the weekend.  The boys finally convinced us to take this lovely cart for a spin...

...good times!

Saturday kicked off with an fantastic full-body early morning workout compliments of the 21 day fix...

...before showering, refueling, and tackling the outings of the day.

First stop--Lowes for a little flower delivery truck building project....

Nice work boys!!  There was an extra bonus that day and they gave each of the boys geraniums and pots to give to their mommas.  The kids even got to decorate the pots.  Lucky me, I got two...

Our next stop was downtown Stuart for the town's 100th birthday party. Of course, we enjoyed some birthday cake...

...like mother, like sons--the frosting is the BEST part!

We also checked out one of the boats that will be at the Regatta next weekend...

...and took in the lumberjack show too...

Happy Birthday Stuart!!

The rest of our day was spent welcoming Mickey's mom into town and at a little friend's birthday party at the park.  It was a fun day!!

Sunday was full of Mother's Day fun which included lots of quality time around the house with my favorite guys and mother in law...

The boys surprised me with a beautiful bracelet...

...which they chose because the band of it looks like a claw to them :-)  Love them!

I managed to squeeze in my 21 day fix yoga workout, watched some TV during naptime, and we all enjoyed a late lunch out and just enjoyed each other's company.  After spending the last few weekends apart from each other, it was nice to all be together for a change.  And of course nice to spend time with Mickey's mom...

We're back to the grind this week doing our usual things along with some fun thrown in, of course.  Yesterday was spent mostly catching up on chores, etc.  It was actually kind of a weird day with nothing seeming to go my way but thankfully I was able to bump and roll pretty well.  Phew!  The boys took the longest bike ride they've ever taken last night after dinner.  That was probably the highlight of my day.   Evenings this time of year are glorious!

Today, after an early morning workout with Shaun T kicking my behind with the speed 2.0 workout...

...we had fun at story time with the following books...

...we had a counting theme today and these ones were lots of fun.

We pretended we were walruses with coffee stirrers...

...I'm pretty sure that idea is compliments of Miss Rabe.  Love it!

We also hit up the local bowling alley for a couple games of fun...

Of course no visit to the bowling alley is complete without a walk through the arcade...

...thankfully we're still at the stage where sitting on the motorcycles is enough of a thrill :-)  I'm savoring this stage.  It won't be long til they're begging me for money.

We've spent the rest of our day reading books and playing outside...something that makes all of us happy.  Looking forward to some more quality time this evening.
